solomon islands here i am.

yet i am leaving in about a half an hour for the drive to Auckland. i cant believe this day has finally come. i am actually leaving. i am some what sad but super excited. i think it is because i am so tired. i just had to do one more blog in this blog i would like to show everyone where the Solomons actually are.




so yeah now you know!!!! lol so i am going to wrap this up quick now! i will miss you all and i love you too. please still send me comments and emails it will be something to look forward to when i get Internet back in three weeks. wow the blog will be insane when i get back. think of three weeks of blogs....wow i don't even know if i am up for the job!! I'm really ending it now.

outreach prep.

because we are getting ready for outreach i haven't had that much time to blog. i have been so busy getting everything i need to pack when we leave. skyping everyone back home because oh yeah i will not have Internet for the next three weeks!!! i know how sad. but it will be okay i promise. sadly i will not be bringing graham so i will have to find Internet cafes if i want to maybe get on. i will most likely only go a few times just to check in if i have the opportunity and what it costs. i am a poor child! so yeah on that note i would just like to point out that i am leaving for outreach/Solomon islands in, lets see...two days!!!!!!!!! i cant believe this. half of our school left yesterday. they are in Samoa. and it is really funny because Samoa you have to cross the date line so they lived Friday twice. weird eh. it is like when i call home and they are like it is Saturday there. you would think that because i have been here for three months now that this fact would not blow their minds so much and that they would get the time difference. i mean i called Eden today and she didn't know what time it was there and i did. in her defence i have nifty clock on graham's desktop that has the time at home so that i never call home at like three in the morning. i do what i can. i have called so many people this week. i have skyped with jace everyday. we even watched the hills together the other day. oh the Internet. and i have called Eden everyday while she was getting here hair done for the play so i can keep her company. it is the greatest time to call because all my Friends are there. all my Friends so plays so how amazing is that all my friends are all together in the same room getting there make-up done. wow that was a weird sentence. but i also get to talk to my favorite teachers. i love Witt dawg!!!!!! and i got to talk to papa T. that man is amazing and mama T works with my brother. yeah Dallas is a cop. can you say end of sneaking around, breaking the law, or dating anyone. lol jk Dallas is a gentle giant unless you piss him off. that also goes with all the men in our house. i miss my Cole boys!! Dallas with baby, Seth with work and Idaho soon and daddy in Alaska. weird my dad is in Alaska. but cool too. he actually has a blog too. he got me started. he is not just any og, he is an og with a blog...and a palm! yeah my dad is cooler than your dad, yeah i said it. well unless your dad is.....Santa but i don't thing Santa ever had kids...unless Santa really is Tim Allen. okay moving on....

so yeah leaving soon. we are all getting ready. we are going to be doing a construction project in the Solomons so we have to raise 1000 dollars before we leave because oh yeah didn't mention, THAT WE RAISED ALL THE MONEY FOR OUR FLIGHTS!! ALL 16800 OF IT BABY! pretty exciting so we are getting more money. we had a car wash today and made about 400 dollars. not bad, not bad. we are not sure how the rest of the money is going to get in the account but we know that God will provide. please join with us in prayer about that. we leave midnight on Monday so well Tuesday if you want to be all technical. we have a flights at 6 am and we fly to Australia. we have three hour lay over and then off the Solomons. luckily we don't loose a day just one hour ahead i believe so then only three hours being USA. since the other team has left it is really quiet on the ship and my side of the room where we sleep i am the only one and it kinda scares me. it is really sad i really do miss them. just keep telling myself i will see them in three weeks and then road trip. oh yeah heads up i will not bring graham on that tour either. just on more thing to carry get lost, stolen or broken. hopefully we will go bungee jumping there because bungee jumping was invented on the south island of nz. wont that be amazing. i better go to bed now i am really tired from washing all those cars. but here are some pictures of all of us in our team shirts:



also while we were washing cars i fell in love....with a car we washed. i seriously couldn't work i just stared at it. it is perfect and i want one! it is amazing and my favorite color. what do you think?

canadian thanksgiving!

so today was Canadian thanksgiving. i don't really know why they have it but they do. it is the same food but a month earlier. it was really nice to have because we will be on outreach when real thanksgiving happens and we will most likely not celebrate it in the islands. the Canadians were all into it and had the best time. Steven [a Canadian] almost died of happiness i think. we was so happy he made everyone Canadian coffee from the coffee he got from home a week before. i have to say that those Canadians make a good cup of coffee. so you may ask why i have not written for a while. well this is because i just got back for GREAT BARRIER ISLAND!!! it was so beautiful. i knew that i was not going to have Internet there because we were going to be ankered in the middle of a bay but sadly the day before the Internet here crashed so i didn't have time to warn you all that i was not going to have contact for a few days. and for that i am sorry because i could have gone to an Internet cafe and make an entry but i was too lazy and sick to do it. yeah i got sick again. every change of season and it is becoming summer here now!! yeah boy! so now that i have covered that here are some pictures of where i spent my weekend.

so yeah that was amazing but was more amazing than that is that we had a bollywood dance party on the last night there! we all dressed to impress and guess what....i won!!! well me and lane! cool eh. i don't know what the prize is yet but i get it! so yeah at home they were going to homecoming and i went to a bollywood party. let me tell you i think i had more fun. it was the time of my life to see out captain Jeremy dance like a mad man to some bollywood techno! he is amazing. him and zanda. they both remind me of Albert from hitch and i mean that in the best way. that is a compliment coming from me! i love that guy and that movie! IM A VAULT BABY LOCKED DOWN!!!! i miss jace. good think i have a skype date with her tomorrow at 4. well noon my time! cant wait!

it was good times! so just a heads up thanks for all your prayers i have all my outreach fees paid for and we leave for outreach in one week and like one hour, but who is counting. oh yeah me!!! i cant wait. well I'm about to watch a movie with Adam so until tomorrow!

two weekssssss.

so yeah two weeks until outreach!!! we just had a meeting and got our packing list for the three weeks we will be there. i have to purchase a few things tomorrow and then i will be ready. well besides the 400 dollars i have left to pay for flights...well actually 700 dollars but we have raised enough money that everyone who still needed money will receive 300 dollars towards their debt. so here is pretty much what we know so far about our outreach.

we will be traveling pretty much all day to get there. we will have a lay over in Australia for three hours and hopefully we can get kangaroo pizza because that was a rumor that we heard. how sweet would that be. im not sure if that it true because i would think that kangaroos would be a protected species there. but you have to admit it looks good!


so today was out first day of our drama week. out team learned one drama today. it is called the conflict. it is pretty much the whole gospel. the main points are creation, the fall of man, Jesus dying on the cross and him rising. here is the best part i play satin! we have to practice it because it is a 15 minutes drama and it is a mime. it was a lot to digest in two hours. i cant wait to see what we learn then next three days because on Friday we sail to the great barrier island!! pray for good weather because the weather has been crap. like mangere crap weather!!! yeah so that is pretty much it for me. more tomorrow!

so tired.

what a day. we had our big fundraising day. we had a car wash and two sausage sizzles. over all we made around 1,000 dollars!!! worked so hard but it was totally worth it, and it wasn't like i didn't have fun. i had heaps. i got to chill with the mates all day. got home took a shower, watched the Italian job and Horton hears a who. yeah odd combination i know. so tomorrow all we have is the bake sale and i might go see a movie with my adopted brother. i don't really have anything else to say.

oh yeah i bought none of your frizznizz shampoo and when ever i smell my hair i think of home and all my lovely friends who use it!! cant wait to see you all. i cant wait for next week. drama week!! then orama. hope i have more to report tomorrow.

best week ever.

it truly was. i am sad to say that my speakers are leaving tomorrow and i am actually sad that they are leaving tomorrow. i have learned so much about my calling on my life and also about other peoples calling. it was so amazing to listen to the stories. dave showed us so many amazing videos. like this one




it has amazing symbolism. just think of jesus as the blonde boy and he is traveling to get is followers. i almost cried when i first watched it. he was such a inspiration. i know now that in my lifetime i AM going to Uganda someday. along with other nations that i have on my list but Uganda is the main one! if you want to come with my you can! i am thinking about going right after i graduate college. oh college i am kinda dreading it now because i just want to go into countries who need help but i know that if i am educated i will have more to offer them.

so yesterday i watched veggie tales and mighty python and the holy grail. i haven't watched that movie completely and i watched it with heather. spamelot was wayyyyyyy better. and today the KOREANS CAME! i love those kids. they showed us dramas and dances. they did the lifehouse drama. i freaking love it and i have seen it so many time but i still almost cry. im a sap.

tomorrow we are working to the bone to raise all our outreach money. we have on yeah....one week to raise the rest of the money.... ah. we are having a sausage sizzle, car wash and a bake sale!!! so please pray for us!!!!
